Get Help and Tech Support

We’ve designed TaxDome to be intuitive and easy to navigate so you can pick things up quickly and run your practice smoothly. Plus, whenever you need help, we’ve made sure that you can always find the guidance and support you need, however you need it. Here’s a short overview of all the help and tech-support options we offer you:

TaxDome Academy

TaxDome Academy is an online learning tool to simplify the learning curve while adapting TaxDome capabilities to your needs. The ultimate goal of the Academy is to provide you with courses on every feature of TaxDome and help optimize it for your practice in the process. Courses in the Academy consist of three lessons with videos on the topic at hand and quizzes at the end of each lesson. For each course, you get a successful course completion certificate.

You can always access TaxDome Academy by clicking on the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen.

The TaxDome Help Center

Our Help Center is filled with detailed guides to assist you with pretty much any question. Access it by navigating to or by clicking the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen, typing a keyword into the search field, then choosing from the list of related articles.

Page-by-Page Help

On many of our pages, you’ll find little help boxes. They offer short descriptions of what you most need to know about a key feature, along with a link to a more detailed article to help you make the most of it. For example, on the Home page, you’ll see a quick tip about the Dashboard and a link to the help article How to Use the Dashboard.

2. In-Depth Product Webinars

We offer free product webinars to help you get started on TaxDome faster—and use it to its fullest potential. While our demo showcases the basics, the webinars are in-depth training sessions that cover these topics:

  • Data import and the difference between accounts and contacts
  • Tools to communicate with clients
  • Exchanging documents with clients
  • How to customize each business process: tax, bookkeeping, audit, etc. Bulk actions and automation tools
  • Invoicing, time tracking, Stripe, QuickBooks Online, CPACharge integrations

YouTube Tutorials

Are you someone who loves visual assists? Then subscribe for free to our channel on YouTube to get our latest videos! A lot of our short videos about specific features are embedded in our help articles, but you can also watch them directly on our TaxDome YouTube channel. And remember, you can always access our channel by clicking on the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen.

System Updates

We release system updates several times a week. If you want to stay up-to-date on all our new features, click the gift icon on the top right of the screen. We post updates almost daily, so check in regularly. Feel free to send us feedback about our new features—you can do that right from there. We always love hearing what you have to say.

Tech Support

Not finding the answers you need? Prefer hands-on help? We are never far away. Reach out to us by clicking on the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen, then click Chat with us. This starts a conversation with a member of our team. Type a question, and we’ll be with you as quickly as we can.

When you’re done, click the x in the lower right to close the help pop-up window.


It is hard for you to understand everything during texting? We are ready to solve any problem in a screen-share session. You always can schedule one by clicking on the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen, then click Schedule 1:1 training.

You will be prompted to select the meeting format:



  • Users with the TaxDome Lite subscription can book only a 15-Min Quick Assist format.
  • Users with the TaxDome Pro subscription can book a 15-Min Quick Assist and a 45-Min Onboarding format.
  • Users with the TaxDome Pro (5+ users) subscription can book all formats.

After selecting the meeting format, you will be able to choose the language, the date, and the time for the call:

When you’re done, click the Confirm button to the right of the selected time.

To see your scheduled sessions, click the Upcoming events link:

To cancel the scheduled session, click the Upcoming events link, then click X at the right of the scheduled session:

Reporting Bugs

We appreciate your help. If you’ve encountered a bug, please let us know by clicking on the question mark help button in the upper right corner of the screen, then click Bug Report.

This redirects you to the form on the page. Please fill out the form carefully and include as much information as you can.

Once you’re done, you’ll receive an email with the report summary and a submission ID. You can use the ID to keep track of the issue.

When you have submitted a bug report please follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings, then open the Firm Settings tab.

2. In the Editor Access pane, toggle on Allow Support Team to Log In with Owner-like permissions, then click Save:
